Call for Short Film Submissions!

The Northern Film School at Leeds Beckett University is excited to announce a new film festival and competition for 2015 -   the inaugural ‘CINAGE - Cinema for Active Ageing’. On 17th & 18th July 2015, the Conference and Festival will bring together filmmakers, researchers and international colleagues from across Europe for an exciting event on European cinema and active ageing.

MISSION & Call for Submissions!

The ‘CINAGE – Cinema for Active Ageing’ festival will act as a platform to showcase work that addresses all aspects of ageing - and you are invited to submit your original short film for competition.

We will consider narrative fiction shorts which do any of the following:

• Address aspects of ageing;
• Feature senior actors (65+);
• Produced by seniors (65+) in one or more head of department role.

Short films should be no more than 10 minutes long and produced in the last 3 years.

We are awarding prizes for:

• Best Film
• Best Senior Performance
• Best Senior Filmmaker (any HOD role).
