European Cinema for Active Ageing /CINAGE

CINAGE - il progetto multilaterale Grundtvig, supportato dal programma europeo Lifelong Learning - è composto da attività interconnesse per la produzione di un pacchetto formativo, che sarà utilizzato da educatori al fine di fornire agli anziani gli strumenti necessari per un invecchiamento più attivo.

Le attività includono:

• Ricerca riguardante i temi dell'invecchiamento attivo e l'apprendimento per un invecchiamento attivo, il cinema europeo e l'invecchimento e modelli di competenze per l'invecchiamento attivo;
• Focus Group che attraverso l'analisi dei film europei, tratterà le competenze necessarie ad un salutare e vitale invecchiamento;
• Produzione del paccchetto CINAGE focalizzato sul processo per l'invecchiamento attivo attraverso il cinema europeo;
• Una sperimentazione per testare il pacchetto, invitando i partecipanti alla creazione dei film CINAGE in workshop audiovisivi, che affronteranno le competenze necessarie ad un salutare e vitale invecchiamento;
• Un workshop per la valorizzazione e una conferenza finale.

Progress Report

The CINAGE Progress Report was approved by the European Commission / Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA)
In its conclusions is pointed out that:
"(…)The project is now ready to enter a new phase in its development where the Course and support learning/teaching material (Guide and Manual) will be tested and validated through pilot actions in the four countries of the partnership. During the Course participants will shoot short films (12 in total), whilst the selection of the six feature films that make up the CINAGE course package will provide a starting platform for continuing self-reflection by Course participants.
The project will proceed within the parameters established for ensuring high quality results and answering the needs of the target audience. Also the valorisation of the project will continue and even be enhanced by some events dedicated to the CINAGE project (a conference and national workshops, to be held at the end of the project). The feedback received so far has been very positive and, therefore, encouraging, which reinforces the confidence that all the objectives set will be achieved on time and with high quality and the project will be sustainable in the future”.
